Guest guest
I move my free day around alot, reason being: When I train legs, they are so trashed, that sometimes I have to take the following day off to recoup.........Typically I dont have a free day of food, I use a free day to let my body recoup from being hammered. Tunes: I make alot of mixes from downloaded music, but I listed to everything.....i have to say my very, very FAVORITE to train to is Eminem, his music pumps me. Congrats on a good upper workout, you know you feel good right now!! > I hope everyone achieves their goals for today!! I just finished a > rockin' upperbody work-out!! Guest guest
No - I have to say that I generally think of Saturday as my free day for eating. Sunday is usually my free day for working out. I like to make a big breakfast on Saturday with EVERYTHING...choc chip pancakes, bacon, eggs, hashbrowns, biscuits and gravy (I married a Southerner and make my own gravy). Oh Yum!!! Only today and tomorrow then I can indulge a little (well, maybe a lot!) My husband usually in charge of tunage while we work out. And honestly, if I'm working out by myself I usually just listen to the radio. And if it's too loud it's more a distraction to me than anything else. My husband listens to Aerosmith, Def Leppard....yes all those rock bands from the 80's. Have an excellent day everyone! And AMusic Question. > I hope everyone achieves their goals for today!! Guest guest
I'm with Cera. I watch the little TVs on the cardio machines and when I'm doing weights I listen to whatever's being played! Sometimes it's good... sometimes not so much... but they usually have it pretty rockin there! By the way... I LOVE Buffy! I have the first 5 seasons on DVD and just waiting for the last 2! I wish it came on at the time I was at the gym! I'd definately get more cardio done! Guest guest
I occasionally move my free day but not too often, mostly because I have it scheduled for Saturdays and usually if we do something, that is the day we do it on. Sometimes if we have a big event to go to during the week I might do 2 free meals instead of 1 giant free day. Great job on the workout! I hit snooze again so will be doing mine while my bfl chili is in the crockpot! Colleen > I hope everyone achieves their goals for today!! I just finished a > rockin' upperbody work-out!! Guest guest
> > > One of the things I did as far as music was buy the Rocky CD. Sounds totally corny, but I knew one of my biggest challenges would be waking up in the morning to workout. I always set my alarm ahead of time to get up, but always in the past I have hit snooze for an hour...sometimes more. For some reason when I hear " Eye of the Tiger " Oh memories! My friends and I used to listen to that and " rock out " in high school! Colleen

Guest guest
Oops, I meant to add my list of songs I like to listen to while doing cardio! I usually don't listen to music while lifting at the gym, but when I'm in my basement I usually listen to something loud. Here's my cardio CD: 2 Rob Zombie songs/White Zombie (Thunderkiss) Rage against the Machine Def Leppard Pat Benatar (All Fired UP...great song!!) Hoobastank Afrika Bambataa Puddle of Mudd Papa Roach Kid Rock and for the grand finale....Sweet Home Alabama by good ol' Lynard Skynyrd... And no I don't have a mullet...!! ( I realize this list makes me sound like a full on metal thrash lady!) I've got to get into this ITunes. I'm intrigued!
