Guest guest
Wow, a foot of snow, that would be beautiful... You must have been in the middle of it yesterday... We're getting your storm tonight and are supposed to get 1-3 inches of snow, then 1/4 - 1/3 inches of ice on top of that, then another 2 inches of snow on top of that... I'll take the snow any day over the ice... Some places are going to get up to a 1/2 inch of ice tonight! The roads here are treacherous tonight... The police scanner has been going non stop with accidents... They are now on a code 1, where they only go to injury accidents because there are so many of them... I Love your grandchildren's charms... That is adorable! Last time I heard you had three, I do believe... Comgratulations Grama! ) ((( Staying Warm Hugs ))) Helen Terri here in Topeka KS. We have about a foot of snow on the ground. Looks pretty but awful to get around in. Hopefully no more snow for a couple of days. Guest guest
Hi Carol, All we got out of it after all the warnings was a glazing of ice and 1" of snow... Not too bad! Schools were closed for two days, but thats because we are out in the country and the wind across the open fields causes so much black ice on the roads and there were numerous accidents... I walked outside the other night day after the storm, there was a full moon out and the top of the big trees just glistened like clear Christmas lights in them, it was so beautiful ) ((( Happy Hugs ))) Helen we got 11" yesterday and the day before Helen after the ice storm.
