The sandalwood I have from them is adulterated with amyris. I noticed it because the dryouts on blends didn't reflect sandalwood alone, but mostly amyris and maybe some other wood like guaiac. Amyris is one of the easiest adulterants because it has a similar viscosity to the real thing. Is it absolutely necessary that you use sandalwood? Both of the these, the Mysore and the Indonesian, smell adulterated. I know means well, but it sure looks like these products are being adulterated and stretched at the source.... because of the continuing demand for something that'll be gone shortly. sara Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
