GOING TO THE CONFERENCE!!!

Hello everyone!! I have exciting news!! My daughter and I are going

to be at the conference after all!! My dad was in town and I was talking to

him about the conference and how I wanted to save up and go next year. He

said " why not this year? " I told him that finances were too bad right now as

my husbands work has been very slow and there was no way possible. He

suggested that I ask several family members to help out so that it would not

be so hard on one person. I said there was no way I was going to call my

family and ask them to do that I would just save and do it next year, He

really encouraged me to rethink that and said that he thought I would be

surprised by the response that I would get. So I first applied for a

scholarship with the foundation ( I havnt heard back yet) and then I talked

to my mom who said of course she would help and then I talked to my aunt (my

godmother and also she is my moms twin sister) and she said she would talk to

my uncle and call me tonight. She called back in 5min and said that they

could send 500.00, I burst into tears and was so thankful. So between my dad,

mom and aunt and uncle we have enough for hotel, plane tickets and cab and

food. Now I am praying that the scholarship comes through. I am so excited

about this opportunity and so is she was thrilled and said " mom do

you think I'll meet anyone else with ocd " I said " you will meet lots

of children with ocd " She is very grateful and has never been on a plane

before I think shes excited and a little nervous. If anyone has any

suggestions to us about this please let me know. My head is kind of spinning

right now because we are leaving in 9 days and did not plan on any of this.

God works in mysterious ways doesnt he. Thanks for everyones support. Nikki
