Guest guest
The old fashioned way works fine. A few other things: Keep everything clean to avoid mold. If you don't have a canning jar any jar will do; hold the nylon or cheesecloth on with a rubber band. Tilt the jar about 45 degrees with the opening down to let any excess water drain. See instructions for jar sprouting at www..com. > >Well, quite the old fashioned way.. but it works everytime.. soak the beans in a jar of water over night. I use a canning jar, with a ring jar lid , with out the canning lid itself, but using a piece of clean nylon net doubled, or nylon stocking.in placd of the lid. drain the beans after one night, then rinse once or twice a day, filling jar up and rinsing the beans well each time. if you need more than 1 quart at a time simply start 2 jars on the same day. from then on start several jars a day. or how many you want to eat.. cover the jars with a tea towel and lay on side. the beans or alfalfa will sprout filling the jar. the water you use to rinse the beans can be used to water flowers. pat > >Blessings, Pat > give your thoughts wings...Pray!! > > > >
