Guest guest
I remember at Costco in San Francisco, a demo agent put the vitamix on low and dropped in a couple cloves of unpeeled garlic... after about 3 or 4 seconds the vitamix had seperated the skins and the garlic, ready to chop.... Oh the things this machine can do!
Guest guest
I learned this from a fellow demonstrator. If I'm peeling one or two cloves of garlic, I'll do it the old fashioned way. If I'm wanting to peel a whole head of garlic I do it this way. All you have to do after the 3 or 4 seconds is dump it all out on a paper towel (or cutting board), pick out the papers to throw them away, and then you have your peeled garlic cloves!Great tip - thanks for sharing!
