First thing I would do is do a " search " on your C: drive (or wherever

templates are stored) to make sure that you don't have two copies of the

assessment, or two copies of the TLC.xls start file. Then make sure that

you have downloaded the correct TLC assessment and start file to your

computer in the correct file directories. If you're working with XP then

you have to get the TLCXP, if prior to XP then the TLCassess file, if using

BioExplorer you have to get the TLCXPBE (sorry don't recall the exact

names). Anyway, it has to match correctly your version of windows, and

Brainmaster, and Bioexplorer.

In XP, I believe the TLC.xls file goes in a folder called C:\Program

Files\Microsoft Office\Office10\Xlstart.

Then the tlc assess file is saved as a template in the appropriate folder.

On my computer that is in this directory tree. C:\Documents and

Settings\ Key\Application Data\Microsoft\Templates

I hope this isn't too confusing. I've just found that that problem goes

away when you have the right files, in the right directories. Good luck.

Tom,

Try downloading the Installation Instructions from the BrainTrainer homepage

(/files). They will take you step by

step through the installation.

Do not update links. that just means you have installed the wrong address to

the macros page for your computer.

I cannot get the TLC for BrainMaster to work. When I open the file it defaults to report and ask if want to update the links. It doesn't matter which selection " yes or no " I choose the program will not run. Please advise as I am attempting to utilize this program. I have several data sets completed and am waiting, hopefully, for an answer to this problem. Thanks, Tom Boone
