504, IEP, and other resources

Hi~

I have just spent some time in the archives trying to find out more

about what resources my son has a " right " to diagnosed with OCD. I

can't seem to tell cuz, a lot of children also have comorbidity.

Anyway, Ian is seeing someone from our County Regional Center who is

going to assess him for " early intervention " since he is still 2.

From what I gather they are looking at him for signs of Autism. Does

he have to have a dianosis of something else to get help with

agencies including the school system when he starts? Thank you for

your response....I tried to avoid asking questions that have probably

been asked time and time again but, didn't have luck in the archives
