Guest guest
Hi gang, I am in my first challenge, 4th week. I have lost some inches, no pounds but I'm not discouraged in any way. I have learned a lot along the way, the EFL cookbook has been awesome in giving me some alternatives so that I don't get bored. I haven't stuck with the program 100% of the time. I may have a meal that is unauthorized occasionally. I didn't start working out until my third week. All of this considered, I've noticed a difference in my energy level and somewhat a boost in confidence. I normally don't stick with anything past two weeks, so even though I haven't been doing this by the book, I'm still here. I've been torn with what to do for the next week. I thought about just letting things go and enjoy the parties and get togethers with reckless abandon. Then there's the side of me that says, why can't you stick with eating clean most of the time and continue working out? Today is my second free day and the second day that I've had to take a nap. This is not how I want the rest of the week to go! All along when I've been learning what proteins and carbs go together, flax oil benefits, learning to drink a protein shake with just water, etc. I've learned the most important lesson as well: This will work and I can do this. I come to this group everyday looking for inspiration and motivation. I have to thank all of you who keep this message board alive. I hope to post more often now that I've proven to myself that I can stick with it. I wish everyone the best of luck while attending family get- togethers this week. Stick with it and we will be ever so proud of ourselves! Penny
