Guest guest
You may recall me mentioning a while back that my buddy dog apollo had cancer. We found it out around the 4th of July and was told that it was on him leg bone. At his age (10)there wasn't much to be done and he was estimated to live 2-3 weeks to 2-3 months. He did really well as you can see. We just got back from putting Apollo to sleep. The past few days and last night especially has been rough on all of us especially him. He got to the point a few days ago were he couldn't even get outside to go to the bathroom anymore. And would bark and whimper when he had to go. Last night him and I were up all night in my room. He couldn't even stand though he did try but his back leg didn't want to work. perhaps it feel asleep I do not know. I finally got him to quiet down after giving him another pain pill and an excedrine pm to get him to sleep at 6am. He was quiet ever since. my parents and I took him for a nice long drive. Where he was very alert and watched where he was going. we filled his belly with all kinds of treats and cheese then waited for the vet. My dad is now taking Beauty around for a nice ride without Their buddy friend. She does not know where he is and that he wont be coming back. I think that is the hardest. He was the only one she would play with, she doesn't play with us. Now she doesn't have him. So that is what I have been up to along with the usual working and doing the majority of the work organizing a craft show that takes place on the 10th. Hopefully now after the 10th is over I can come back, catch up and see what I have been missing.

Guest guest
What a sad thing to have to go through. Brings tears to my eyes. One day there will be no more pain and no more sorrow. We are promised that. I'm waiting for that day. Kimber Avendel Bath & Body Oswego, NY From: K Bear Creations Sent: Thursday, March 01, 2012 1:18 PM Subject: sad update. Guest guest
So sorry to hear about Apollo It's very sad when the inevitable occurs but the best thing is to relieve them of that pain. My dad's german sheperd had to be put to sleep as well as he lost complete muscle control of his hind legs. It was a difficult decision but we know there would be relief. But know this - Apollo's spirit will always be around you. That's how we feel about Bruno ________________________________ From: K Bear Creations <Koalas_boutique@...> Sent: Thursday, March 1, 2012 1:18 PM Subject: sad update. Guest guest
Oh Krissy I am so sorry to hear about Apollo. It is so sad when we lose a loved pet that was really a family member. Hopefully Beauty will adjust. Email me how she's coping, ok. Delores > > You may recall me mentioning a while back that my buddy dog apollo had cancer.
