We absolutely need to give our government officials a copy with a written request that they demand that the VSD be made opened to researchers since its paid by public expense. I also think a picture of your child would make it personal.

I'll take the sending one to the White House along with a homey scrapbook journaling our foray into the world of vaccine damage. Just the thought of hopping to bed next to donned with bifocals propped up reading EOH makes this a worth while purchase.

It had crossed my mind. We are also from CA. I just wonder if we should call ahead. My biggest fear is that it will never be opened due to security issues.

Is there any way to ensure our books will not become victems of the war on terror?

I think our best bet is to ship directly from Amazon. Surely they trust Amazon...everyone else does! Let me know if you want to send to Feinstein and Boxer. I could send to some representatives ~ Honda comes to mind. I don't think we want to bombard them as we would do with Oprah.

I am sure all White House mail is xrayed. I did read where they try to actually respond to all letters written by children maybe we can get the sibs and HF kids on board with this.

Dear Sylvia..You should still send a copy of "EOH" to the Whitehouse to make a point. Perhaps we could really get GeeDubya's attention if everybody on this list commited to sending at least one copy to the Whitehouse..better yet..address it directly to and fill out a return receipt so that somebody at the WH has to sign for it in Bush's name. Maybe if they got two-to-three thousand copies of "EOH' showing up all on on the same day at the WH we could annoy GeeDubya into taking some action to ban timerosal. Any thoughts on this???? Tim Z

I think Bush would be a great target too. There is no betterinfulence to a man than his WIFE. Get her in the know...then you havea great shot at the president.The problem would be ... would she actually GET the books.
