Guest guest
Sorry for your difficulty with 1.9A and your USB to serial converter. We have seen these problems, and have a solution for them, fortunately. I'm glad you are watching your EEG, you are correct that this is a data problem. It comes up with the original 1.9A software on some USB converters. The problem you see is fixed in a 1.9A update. You can get this update at: www.brainmaster.com/software/update/1.9A You should download this update, and the weird 2-channel data should not appear again. I'm very sorry for your inconvenience and confusion on this. We do recommend that 1.9A users who have USB to serial converters get this update and use it, to ensure this does not happen. Guest guest
no joy, Tom. i downloaded the file, clicked on it, and unzipped the Master.exe file directly into my brainmaster directory. i still get the spikes, and after a few seconds XP bluescreens and crashes. i have a Thinkpad R40 if that helps. thanks > Sorry for your difficulty with 1.9A and your USB > to serial converter. Guest guest
If you ran the assessment, you should have produced a 3-minute text file for each of the site pairs. Please back-channel me with those and I'll put them into the assessment form. Guest guest
Let's work directly on this issue, to avoid having all these details busying up the list group. This is definitely not the expected behavior. Make sure the file is named master.exe and has replaced the previous file, and that it is in the directory c:\brainm. The changes in this code are definitely not the type to cause a blue screen. It may be best to reboot the machine after the file is replaced, to make sure Windows is not keeping an old copy in memory. Please email us at info@... or call us at 440 232-6000 and we will work directly with you on this.
