Guest guest
: I think you may be referring to the discussion forum moderated by my wife, Dr. Brown who held a faculty position in Psychiatry at Stony Brook University and is published in cardviopsychophsyiology as well as Behavioral Medicine. She has quite an interest in various approaches to healing – as do many practitioners these days. You might want to contact her directly for further information if you’re really interested in those topics. But I’m unclear what that would have to do with the use of 40 and 21 Hz in NF training – which we have been actively doing for years now. val From: P. Guest guest
Bruce, et.al, There is an interesting book by D. Traub, G.R. Jefferys, and miles A. Whittington called Fast Oscillations in Cortical Circuits. THis book was one I used in my research working with Auditory Processing and elements of AD/HD. I have used Val's work since he did the 5 Phase model and he deliberately set the work up so that a fractionation of SMR/Beta was coupled with Gamma 38-42 Hz. It is part of the professional version of NCP and is built into the Comprehensive screens. I have had incredible results with Gamma and have truly been using it for the past 7-8 years. I know Val is not able to receive email from this list serve anymore but If there is a question about the 21 Hz and 40 Hz work – and when he began using it etc. – some may want to consider looking for the iSNR and FutureHealth presentations he did in 2000. I can even forward a PowerPoint to those who might be interested. He really has been ahead of his time in many areas even though many others shoot him down quickly. By the way I have had some success using the Brainmaster and creating these Gamma screens with Tom's help. Best Regards, Lise' Lise' D. Guest guest
Val, Can you work on the new EEG pendant from Pocket Neurobics to have your NCPro run on it? I am sure Bruce would be happy to supply you with one, if you wanted to do it. Mark Berman, Psy.D. Guest guest
Val, To expedite matters, can you ask Bruce again for the pendant - Since it is a brand new product there has been a strong demand but I know that he will respond. Thank You Mark Berman, Psy.D. I am still waiting to receive an updated pendant from Bruce for > testing and validation.
