Guest guest
We saw the 2nd psychiatrist for Coralee yesterday. He doesn't seem to agree with the bipolar diagnosis. He says most definitely MDD, but I get the impression that as Coralee's treatment for MDD progress, he really wants to watch for OCD signs. At the moment, he wants to get the MDD under control. He put her on 75mg of Effexor. He felt that she doesn't need an anti-psychotic because the audio and visual hallucinations can be strictly a result of the MDD, so by treating that, the voices (95% of her hallucinations are audio) should stop. Does anybody have any experience with Effexor? Trudy in KC, MO
Guest guest
I take it, same dose, 75mg/daily. At first I got headaches from it but now I don't. I always take it with food. It works for me.
