Guest guest
Also, if you look at his/her ID, you will notice it is " mannalivenutraceuticals " and it appears to be a woman promoting Mannatech crap with links to her stuff. Guest guest
Actually , many of my clients have had many forms of cancer over the years and nutrition is a must and has to be adhered by with very strict guidelines. I cannot tell you how education is key to understanding how to prevent it and how to beat it. Cancer doesn't scare Naturopaths and people like us when you understand how whole food components work. " Let your medicine be your food and your food be your medicine. " Once it's tampered with and synthesized... it's not recognized by the body as food. Period. That is why I joined this Forum. I grow my own food. Re: What's in some of those sprouts you eat? Guest guest
Celia, I have to agree with . I saw no harm in her posting this information. I think you are making an assumption about her. If she believes this informtion about Vit. B17--which I never heard of before--what harm did she do? I think you need to give us readers some credit for looking into these things oursleves. We need to all take responsibility for our own health. I personally don't use any unnatural products. However, I like to know information like this so I can make sure I include food in my diet that has a full balance of all nutrition. If in my research I find Vit. B17 is something my body needs, then I will make sure I eat some foods that contain it. Again, did NOT try to sell us anything in the email she sent. I think it would have been wiser or your part to not make an assumption and wait until an attempt to sell something was made. Or perhaps add what information you have on vit. B-17 or laetrile instead of immediately attacking her. Information on both views is helpful and what this site is about. Attacking a member based on an assumption, is not helpful. Guest guest
I'm insulted and NOT so be it. NOBODY's here to insult the others. Not only that SHE NEVER TRIED TO SELL ANYTHING -- you don't present ANY research YOU did but you talk about doing it -- WELL -- you DIDN'T EVEN read the info your using to insult others. Everyone knows what the FDA did. They did this in order to STOP hoaxes. The DID NOT DO IT because of the information she posted here at this group site. If read her information rather than just satisfy your own horrific needs to attack -- SHE IS PRESENTING INFORMATION that existed BEFORE that and OTHER developments. She's entitled to say what she said her WITHOUT INSULT OR ATTACK. She's entitled to her credentials, too. Is that why you're being unresonable, because you feel put out by someone who's made a commitment ? She's entitled to make a living selling whatever. There's people who see guns, there's people who sell bombs, there's even people who sell entire nations into war and hatred. She wasn't selling anything. YOU and OTHERS here said she was, though. You think she feels " insulted " ? Wowee. The members here should -- after you guys jumped like that. You're clearly way wrong. I wouldn't mind you expressing your opinion about a certain supplement, but so her info was of a different NATURE -- not support sales OR EVEN USE of the SUPPLEMENT -- she was just giving background LEADING INTO a contribution here JUST ABOUT SPROUTS. As a matter of fact -- SHE DOES THIS as A RESULT of her education. And certainly -- A PROFESSIONAL who's money making touches on this subject should be welcome here for the REAL LIFE experience, etc. they can contribute. SHE NEVER TRIED TO SELL B17 BUT SHE LISTED SPROUTS, YES, SPROUTS, and other whole foods that might touch on the subject she addressed in her post. There was nothing wrong with 's posts -- it's what OTHERS assumed wrongfully that hurts. -- I'm sorry to see they tried to back you into a corner mistakenly and repeatedly so. HERE'S WHAT SHE REALLY SAID INSTEAD OF the non-existent activity you cooked up : The following is a list of foods rich in vitamin B17: - Watercress - Spinach - Bamboo sprouts - Alfalfa sprouts - Lentil sprouts - Whole nuts - Mung bean sprouts - Ground nuts - Garbanzo sprouts - Apple seeds - Apricot seeds Jerry
