Hi !

My name is Marita and I am new to the group. I joined because I need to know

more about soap making and marketing and it looks like the right group for this

purpose.

I have been searching high and low for coconut oil in 5 gallon pails locally. I

hate paying for the shipping and I prefer to support my community. Can anyone

help out?

I live in Poughkeepsie,New York. I am about 1 hour north from NYC and 1 hour

south of Albany.

Hi Marita

In NY there is New Directions Aromatics and another one I can't think of right

now but can look up. I usually get my oils in bulk from Soapers Choice (IL) or

Jedwards (MA) (bulknaturaloils.com).

Welcome, Marita! Glad to have you here.

To find a local source of CO, check your Yellow Pages for " Concession

Supply. " They usually sell it in 45 - 50 gal pals.

Is Utica too far for you? There is an oil business thereabouts, Sovena,

that sells to restaurants, but sent us an availability list a couple of

years ago for our gathering. One of our members buys from them.
