Guest guest
Yes finally someone who hears the problem! I noticed today various changes in the 2nd channel depending on where I placed the Roshi. If I put it on the anti-static mat it was the worse. If I put it on the armchair rest with the client it was tolerably poor and when I held it it was the best!!! Go figure - perhaps our electrical wizards could explain. I only know what works. I'm going to do similar experimentation with the all color googles which I don't use because of poor reception when they are plugged in. Rosemary Herron <reherron@...> wrote: Has anyone seen the following problem with a newer BrainMaster with a full hook up, 1 channel and also 2 channel. The raw waveform alternates thicker and then thinner on 1.9A and also on the BioExplorer with NO 60 Hz (and no 50 Hz) showing up. Often when 1 ch is thick, the other is thin. With a very clean hook up it is harder to see but is still there. With a not so clean hook up it is very evident. I tested 3 units...all with the new amps.... at my home, at the office, at 2 clients' houses all miles apart. I also used different cables, different brands of cables, different electrodes, different brands of electrodes, different heads, different times of day. Laptop not plugged in and 3 diffferent desk top computers. Units charged but not plugged into charger. The problem only shows up on the new units not on older ones. This was tested by disconnecting the new one and connecting an older one with everything else kept exactly the same. I did another test by running a session with an old unit for 5 minutes, stopping and putting on a new unit for 5 minutes, then putting the old one back on for 5 minutes. On the graph the amplitudes (rms) were significantly higher with the new unit than the old one. The only thing I hear from BrainMaster is that the new amps which are supposed to be extra great at screening out interference are also 100 times more sensitive. This may be true but not helpful when a home trainer is sitting there watching the raw waves changing thickness over and over. Is anyone else having this problem? Guest guest
Then, Deb, ship the ROSHI and the AllColor unit to me and I'll check them out. If you're not careful about static charges, in your office, you'll just kill the ROSHI. /ChuckD..... http://roshijournal.com/ Re: Thicker then thinner Yes finally someone who hears the problem! Guest guest
Chuck - I am obsessing about the static charges, still the Roshi works and I do get good connections - just there are these periods of time were I scratch my head - it was working well and then I get the second channel misbehaving. I can't explain it - I used to wonder about the client doing something but I've seen it change for no noticable reason what ever. I hate to do without it for even a week. roshicorp@... wrote: Then, Deb, ship the ROSHI and the AllColor unit to me and I'll check them out. Guest guest
I packed up the Roshi and all color googles yesterday (or was it the day before) - good thing too because I slipped into a pretty sick state. Haven't been that sick since I can remimber. The fever broke today and I suspect you'll recieve the package Thursday.. Don't freak over the packing - I'd double packed it and when I went to the place to send it they claim it has to go in a new (not reused box). So it may seem like you're unwrapping alot of boxes.roshicorp@... wrote: Then, take that time, to ship it to me. I'll turn it around, in a day. No need to pass along the flu bug./ChuckD.... Guest guest
OK, Deb, Hopefully, you won't have to suffer from ROSHI detachment disorder, RDD, for too long I will say, tho, that if you had practiced some deep 40Hz relaxation, your immune system would've slowed that critter down ;-) Best, /ChuckD.... http://roshi.com/-----Original Message----- From: Debaney Lefort Sent: Jun 8, 2004 6:26 PM Subject: Re: Thicker then thinner I packed up the Roshi and all color googles yesterday (or was it the day before) - good thing too because I slipped into a pretty sick state. Guest guest
Hi Chuck, I'm interested in this statement - and we have a ROSHI here, so ... How would the 40hz relaxation be set up to provide immune support? And has the 40hz training been seen to enhance immune functioning in the literature? Guest guest
I have a BE and A1 combo and it does the same thing. I understood it was simply adjusting to scale (I have some VERY active little neurons being trained,,,). It goes from large to tiny quite frequently on some sessions.
