Guest guest
Anyone have a faster and better way to clean hulls from alfalfa/clover sprouts oither than rinsing many many times and losing a lot of the srpout? I have the Easy Sprouter and I can shake and shake and get the hulls loose, but it is realy hard to get them out. They do float to the top, but it takes so much water to do it that way I am looking for a quicker less wastefull way. Thanks

Guest guest
Sorry, no. Seeds are at , but the perlite and peat will be at your garden center. Perlite comes in three grades. You will want to get 'fine.' If you can't find coco peat, regular peat will work. The difference is that regular peat is slightly acidic. If you don't buy mushrooms from the store in those little blue plastic trays, any two matching plastic containers that are about 4x5 will work. Just as long as one will fit inside of the other. Just for the fun of it, I once grew onion sprouts inside of soda bottles for a show. ew Vermiculite > Date: Sun, 19 Oct 2008 23:56:12 -0000 > > has anyone tried to grow shoots , like snow pea, or anything else for > that matter on Vermiculite inside trays? > still searching > Miss Lavande > > > > > > Sunshine makes the flowers dance. > Anon. > > -- > Be Yourself @ mail.com! > Choose From 200+ Email Addresses > Get a Free Account at www.mail.com > > > >
Guest guest
Tell your husband he will love the radish sprouts from the seeds at . They are white radish seeds. Very yummy, not spicy like red radish. ew Vermiculite > Date: Sun, 19 Oct 2008 23:56:12 -0000 > > has anyone tried to grow shoots , like snow pea, or anything else for > that matter on Vermiculite inside trays? > still searching > Miss Lavande > > > > > > Sunshine makes the flowers dance. > Anon. > > -- > Be Yourself @ mail.com! > Choose From 200+ Email Addresses > Get a Free Account at www.mail.com > > > >
