Guest guest
ha ha Last night I had already used the hair conditioner, hawaiian pineapple body polish and the almond goat milk soap which I didn't notice was almond until I started lathering it up in the shower. The scent hit me and I was like mmmmmm yummy almond. Everything was awsome so far can't wait to try more. I noticed the cupcake topping is spongie. what is that on there, might i ask that makes it spongie like that. I smushed it and it bounced back and retained it's shape that is so cool. > > I have it all on my counter, trying to figure out what to use first! Guest guest
Just a reminder on my swap (it was in the " let's party " packaging) - it was only made 2 weeks ago, so you may want to let it cure longer. My husband used it the day after it was made and it's holding up well - so totally up to you! PS it doesn't look so pretty once it's wet - lol Lynette Sent from my iPod On Jul 31, 2011, at 9:41 AM, " R " <mrivera1972@...> wrote: > Fun! Fun! Fun!!! Guest guest
I can't wait to try out all the stuff, too! Just waiting for my houseguests to leave ... when it comes to swaps I don't like to share ... it's all for me, me, me! First up is that hair conditioner and gotta remember to take out that dream pillow tonight! I would love to hear feedback on my pineapple scrub ... I never made it like that before and I would appreciate any and all comments - good or bad! I would most likely change the scent to pink grapefruit eo if I was to sell it ... I think I was in a tropical mood when I made it! Guest guest
I tried Delores' gardeners cream soap and I love it! The pumice is so small (where do you order from??) and feels great on the skin! I also tried Cheryl's conditioner and love the scent and how soft my hair is. Donna, I will use the sugar scrub when the cool weather comes and report back to you. Unfortunately I have to share Robbin's goat milk soap with my husband. As soon as he smelled it, he claimed it! Luckily we share the bathroom so I can use it when I want! Guest guest
Hey , it's not seasonal unless you're waiting for it to put you in an island frame of mind once it gets cooler! I just used some pumice in the soap I made when that reporter came ... it was very fine also ... want me to send you some? Guest guest
Donna I'm waiting on the scrub because I find any lotion/oil on my skin in the summer is too heavy. Besides, it will help me stay in a summer state of mind during the fall/winter! Can you send a tablespoon or 2 of the pumice to me? I'd like to try it. I have your charcoal ready to mail tomorrow. I just put it in a ziploc bag and then in an envelope. 8 scherer st bethpage 11714. Guest guest
Love all my stuff! Chrissy's peppermint whipped body butter is to die for as is Cheryl's goat's milk cream lotion. I'm a great fan of dream pillow's Susie so yours will be under my pillow tonight, after I shower with some wonderful goat's milk soap & use 's sugar scrub. I'm smiling at Amy's piggy soap and can't bear to use it. I can't wait to try Cheryl's hair conditioner and give her some feedback. Guest guest
Will do! Probably not until Tues though ... settling in for a nearly 3- hr ride back from wedding right now and then a trip to airport first thing tomorrow to get rid of, I mean, drive three of the guests back. Hoping for some normalcy by Tues! Donna On Jul 31, 2011, at 6:39 PM, angcarillo@... wrote: > > Donna I'm waiting on the scrub because I find any lotion/oil on my > skin in the summer is too heavy. Guest guest
I've only had a brief chance to scope out the swap items, but was really wowed by the quality and diversity. You all really knocked yourselves out this year! My 15 yo dd got excited at seeing the goodies, but I reminded her that she had to wait until I got the chance to comment on everything. Then, I have to decide what I will part with. It won't be easy! Guest guest
I am completly envious of the nice hard bars with the smooth edges and crisp corners. super nice. I am always in awe of them every time. EVERYONE should be quite proud of their products, they are all so nice and not to mention fun. A very creative and high quality group we have here. The newbie soapmakers from the east (long island, brooklyn,New jersey ...) you guys did a great job, you obviously have a great teacher. I also love how classy your labels are. Keep up the good work. > Everyone is so talented!
