Guest guest
Gaye, Go to the library linked to this list. (address at bottom). Do you have access to soap supplies? If for a first time, you can get all of your incredients at a local store. There are easy Crisco/Lye/Water recipes there. But most health food sections of stores carry Coconut Oil. I helped a friend with her first batch and we just popped into the store, she bought some peppermint essential oil to add. It's a good first batch soap, then you can expand on it. This recipe makes a large batch, so you may want to cut it in half. Make sure you run it through the MMS calculator first tho. If you need help with this, just email me. 44 oz olive oild 17 oz coconut oil 24 oz veg shortening (like Crisco) 10 3/4 oz lye 32 oz water 4 1/2 tsp of essential oils Barb J Idaho In a message dated 12/29/2001 1:53:02 PM Pacific Standard Time, PottedLady@... writes: > , I'd like to try making soap, not the > glycerin type, does anyone have an easy recipe for a beginner. > Thanks > Gaye °Ü° > >
