The ones in the stores look not dried. > well, commercial oils can get away with fresh-er herbs because they have the sterile facilities to treat them.> i actually got a lovely bottle of herbed oil for xmas and it says " remove fresh herbs after opening " . ingredients just say " canola oil, rosemary, herbs, spices " . no preservative. there is a huge stalk of rosemary in there plus some fat bay or sage leaves. plus the rest i guess is dried, except for the rosemary that fell off the stalk (fresh or dried?) but after the whole discussion on this list now i'm afraid to use it! also the bottle is a pretty shape but its triangular, narrow on the top so i think i will have to use chopsticks or something to fish the bay leaf out. highly impractical conconction (made in canada) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
