Guest guest
surgeon recently wrote a script for 20,000 iu's of vit D, 15 mg vit e, and 5000 ??? vit a. understandbly her needs are higher with malabsorption from bpd proceedure, compounded by some type of renal dx (don't have the chart in front of me and can't recall the nature of her disease). however, I'm concerned about the UL for vit. D, specifically, with a script written for 20,000 iu's. anyone with thoughts? anyone know of an appropriate supplement that has all the fat solubles in one, so she doesn't have to take even more pills? any lit references for the above? I was also thinking of suggesting food sources high in these nutrients, for example, salmon - also getting the benefits of omega 3's. anyone use UDO's oil? thanks Randi Belhumeur
