ques. about honey in lip balm?

Hi, I have made quite a bit of lip balm, but wanted to add honey to

it now. Yesterday I melted oils, wax and honey and the honey kind of

stayed in its own little blob at the bottom of the cup. Then when I

poured, the honey all concentrated and ended up basically in the last

tube. I see honey in alot of lip balms, does anyone know what I am

doing wrong?
