Guest guest
Ellen, could you please expand upon what you mean by "a huge conflict of interest" - this is the first time I am hearing of this. I recently recieved many letters indicating that ADA is proposing tossess the role RD's have in this process and to re-look at the responsibility of having to give MNT to these patients since there was a huge conflict of interest . I believe this petition was taken to the last ADA meeting and I did not get the results of what occured. Any info would be helpful thank you Ellen Reiss, R.D. Guest guest
I would be most inerested in that as well. Are they saying if you work for a surgeon who does the surgery, you should not be part of the process of acceptance or rejection for surgery? Guest guest
I would be interested to see that as well. I don't understand what you mean that this is not our scope of practice.
