Guest guest
Just a warning about oregano oil....And I do know a little bit having come to the place of offering five different oreganos (different % or carvacrol) from first using the oregano oil mentioned below. It's very powerful stuff and MUST be diluted before you use it. Make certain what you get is unadulterated and that it's from Turkey or Greece, not Spain or Mexico. Make your supplier give you a GC indicating the carvacrol content of what you have in the bottle. When you can find this, buy the oil and mix your own with ex. virgin olive oil. Igram's No. American Herb and Spice (NAHS) company sells 15 ml for $30 and it's mostly olive oil. my most expensive one is $16 for 20 ml and you can get at least 20 of the same strength sold by NAHS by diluting it in a one to ten ratio. It will still be a bit stronger than the other but you may dilute it more if you need to for comfort sake. SaraLou Pedigo Re: rosacea Dear Erma, I have a close friend that has had rosacea on her face for a long time, so I began looking for something to help her. I noticed most books on herbal and natural remedies don't even list rosacea and the few that do talk about controlling it but nothing to clear it up. But recently as I was researching other problems, I came across two different items that claim to " work " . First, the literature on " oil of oregano " and " Oregamax " mentions using these products for rosacea. I came across it when I was reading in their little booklet called " The Cure is in the Cupboard " . You use the oil topically and take the Oregamax internally- 2 or more capsules daily the bottle says. My Oregamax is manufactured by North American Herb & Spice Co
