Guest guest
So- not the fan? Funny, when I used it the first time I wondered whether I got some fancier model or something because of the air that blows out...seems like a fan! LOVING my vitamix btw!! Have had it several weeks now, still tweaking recipes to get my kids as excited about it too!Sent from my iPadOn Jul 9, 2012, at 7:06 PM, "Lea Ann Savage" <lsavage@...> wrote: Hello ,Mine does the same thing. Guest guest
Have you let them go through the recipe book and pick out one to try? They are always more "invested" if it is their idea. I wouldn't have picked out the "Lemon Slushie", but it is what they wanted and loved. Guest guest
Good idea...my daughter (12) will drink anything , it's my younger 2 that are trickier. They say they like it, but then never finish their small cups. (I either find the cup later that was unfinished or have to prod them along so they consume more. although, it seems they like "ice cream"-smoothies that are thick enough for a spoon, we just call it ice cream) they like sweeter recipes...BTW, on a different topic- someone had posted here that they were considering purchasing a Vitamix and hoped that it would be smoother or worth it in comparison to a Ninja blender. A friend of mine said its like the difference between a BMW and a bicycle! I concur! The vitamix is sooooo smooth and vastly different (better) from my Ninja. There is no contest! Guest guest
I am traveling and couldn't stand being without my 17 year old vitamix. I picked up the Ninja hoping it would be good enough to replace my old faithful. It doesn't come close. It's going back!a BTW, on a different topic- someone had posted here that they were considering purchasing a Vitamix and hoped that it would be smoother or worth it in comparison to a Ninja blender.
