Right now I only do 20 minutes of cardio on cardio days, but I also do ab work

on cardio days. On weight days I warm up with 10 minutes of light cardio on my

elliptical, just to warm up the muscles.

just a cardio inquiry

does anyone do more than the 20 mins of cardio?!

Also for those who celebrate Thanksgiving, are you using that

day for your free day?!

I always do the 20 minutes HIIT, then anywhere from 10-30 minutes moderate

cardio. I'll usually stay on the same machine (usually

the elliptical) for the 20 HIIT plus another 10 moderate, then switch to either

the treadmill or stationary bike for the additional time if I

feel like I can make it!

<<does anyone do more than the 20 mins of cardio?!>>

For me the short answer is yes. The long answer, I put on my website. :-)

I still do 20 minutes of intense intervals three times a week. That's it for the

HIIT, but I also walk the dogs, kickbox, dance, rake the yard, run stairs at

work, and just generally try to MOVE IT as much as possible.

--- Hi Jen..I still do 20 min HIIT and maybe just cool down for like

10 mins or more..but that is just moderate. I swim for my cardio so I

don't usually like to get out of the pool. but I just do that 10

extra mins to get my heart rate back down. I do kickboxing 2 times a

week because I really really like it and it is so fun for me. it is

only added in for the fun aspect. I make sure I eat enuff so I don't

loose any muscle though. at least I am trying to do that..kind of

hard lately.

I do videos so if you combine my warmup, stretch and if I do a cool

down it varies from 28-35 minutes. But for the interval training I

usually do right about 20 min.

And I'm undecided on free day that week. The only thing I'd indulge

in is pie which could wait until Sat. if I have a lot of

willpower...and it's a long weekend which are tough for me. So I'm

leaning towards keeping my free day on Sat.
