Guest guest
Debbie - slice some fresh peppers, smash 'em a little (to release more oil/flavor) and cover with hot vinegar (brought just to simmer). Cover and refrigerate after it cools. Or take dried pepper flakes, put in a dry skillet on low heat, heat until fragrant. Add vinegar and bring to simmer. Cool and bottle. No fridge needed. On another subject - on Fri. I stopped at St 's Thrift, and found a box of small (1/3 oz?) amber bottles with orifice reducers - all new - about 60 of 'em for . . . $2.50! I have to wash 'em, but I'm doing the **happy dance**! H in Kenmore, WA >I too received a bottle of Vinegar (instead of oil) and it has sliced peppers in >it, green and red bell peppers.
