Guest guest
My children prefer to have their smoothies frozen. They won't eat them if they're green, so someone here suggested adding beets or cocoa. I've had success with the cocoa. Our pops only last a few days, but they do taste good. Strawberry and orange/pineapple are the two favorite flavors though. Sometimes, when the smoothie settles, they're even multi-colored. :)Good luck!On Jul 20, 2012, at 3:38 PM, "crenita2" <crenita@...> wrote: I would like to make my own frozen POPS.... but ? if I make a mix of my green smoothies.. and pour into the mold.. how long would they TASTE GOOD... I know something get a funny flavor when frozen.. Have any of you don't this... ? We have a few little visitors that would love frozen treats vs a smoothie.. just need an opinon or your experience doing this ?? PS: someone gave me this ' recipe' to make pudding pops..but would prefer using a green mix but may have to do this for the little ones.. to eat them .. Fill blender with around 2-2/3 cups water. Add 1/2 cup party peanuts and pulverize. Then blend in 1 pack of sugar-free vanilla or chocolate pudding mix. Then blend in 6 ounces of low-fat vanilla yogurt. A 4-cup mixture will fill 8 pop molds.
