FYI, these chewable Viactiv MVI's are not complete MVI's. I called the company to ask as I had pt's wanting to use this product also.

Viactiv Multiple Vitamins

I have a by-pass patient who would like to use these chewable multiple vitamins. Does anyone know if calcium pantothenate is absorbed like calcium citrate? Thanks

I am thinking that's a form of pantothenic acid, a B vitamin.

In looking at their website, the primary calcium source is tricalcium phosphate.

Calcium is the only added mineral, so it is only a multivitamin, not a complete multivitamin with mineral supplement.
