I was so disheartened, not surprised, however. I did not realize there were so many chemicals in our environment and my bggest concern is that children are really the chem companies guiny pigs. Bill moyer had his blood tested and he had 84 chemicals floating around in his blood from PCB's, DDT's etc. I wanted to know if anyone knows how to chelate plastics and other chems out of one's body. I am concerned about my own children and their exposure. How do we keep them from exposures and how do we help them chelate chemicals from their little bodies? It will also take out heavy metals, including mercury. Best of Health! Guest guest Posted March 27, 2001 Report Share Posted March 27, 2001 Dear list; Regret I missed the Bill Moyer special, but after reading your post can imagine it was a valuable and enlightening presentation of the contaminants threatening our society. One blood cleanser that I can vouchsafe as effective is EDTA (Ethanine Diamine Tetrascetic Acid) used in what is commonly called chelation.. I have written a book on this from the patient's viewpoint, i.e. what I saw happend to my fellow chelators over a period of 75 therapies at two different chelation clinics. The book is still unpublished since I have been so busy trying to start up a HBOT and Chelation clinic I haven't had time to find a publisher. The problem as you noted is our children, and I have never seen chelation given to children. The protocol would be difficult since it is given IV and requires 3 hours of drip ;Time;e. I doubt if it would be practical to try giving it to children, But EDTA does cleanse the blood. It was developed in Germany prior to WWII as a substance to clean wunwanted metals out of paint, then it was subsequently used in the U. S. when some Navy types had been overexposed to lead poisoning. I was first told about it by Congressman Bob of San Diego who once was Minority Leader of the House Armed Services Committee. Three years ago Bob told me he was still taking maintenance periodically. One book FORTY SOMETHING FOREVER by Arlene Brecher tells much o;f the chelation story as does BYPASSING BYPASS by a Harvard Physician Dr. Crampton. EDTA is an amino acid and I was once told by a chelation doctor that most likely other amino acids would be effective but I don't know of any research being done. Problem in the states is that we only have 12 FREE States, states free to use Ozone. Is 12 still the correct number. It should be 50 of course.. When you get a chance, do some ozone saunas and funnel your liver. That will clean you out, good as new. Best of Health!
