Bath Salts Fiasco

The other night I was making bath salts. I looked like a madd

scientist...sitting on the kitchen floor with all my ingredients scattered about

me. (I have very little counter space.) I wasn't pleased with the color I was

getting. Kept trying...still ucky. So I retired the effort and conceded that I

could simply add a little of the ugly salt to other good ones, just not too much

or the ugly salt may diminish the beauty of the pretty ones. So, I was tired

and I went to bed thinking...maybe I will try to " fix " them in the morning.

I woke up and went to the kitchen to make a pot of coffee. Through my sleepy

eyes I saw that something had gotten into my salts. All I could do was

laugh...it seems that my ugly salts are the same color as kitty litter (told you

they were ugly!!) DC (Dear Cat) had come into the kitchen in the middle of the

night. I can only imagine her thought... " I have the best mommy ever...she put

litter pans out for me everywhere! I must be the best kitty in the world...I

have my choice of all these litter pans! " I checked the salts, can't find any

evidence of her " using " the salts, but I still don't think I will be label to

sell them. I just had to share this story about the most spoiled cat in the

world!
