Guest guest
I have to write this and just gush a little about customer service at vita mix! I broke my well loved vita mix last week by accidentally putting a paring knife into it with the celery I was stuffing into my green smoothie mix for the morning. guess I hadn't had enough coffee or something. When I had woken up enough to realize that that horrible noise was in fact coming from my blender and turned it off, it was good and dead. The blades were scratched and chunks were taken out of the blades, knicks were in the insides of the container(which I didn't notice until today, actually), and the little knobby thingie on the base of the blender was wobbly. Oh, and it totally didn't work, either. I called the customer service number and talked to them, fessed up and they offered to fix the thing, even though my warrenty doesn't cover stupidity! I sent it back when my fed ex label got here, and it was sent back to me so fast I couldn't belive it! I sent it to the factory in Windsor ontario last Wedensday and it got here this Monday! On a side note, I also have to write that Mark got tired of my whining about not having green smoothies or other raw type foods as easily when the blender was in the shop and went out and bought me another blender, but it wasn't a vita mix, of course. It only had 600 watts(it was a Breville). Well, it was a nice enough one, but I took it back, just isn't a vita mix, what can I say! This morning, I made my smoothie again with spinach, frozen bananas, raw cocoa, and water and mac and it was great! Caitlyn, glad to have someplace to gush about blenders
