Guest guest
I think there is a problem with terminology. . .I think she means fibrin, not fibrinogen. Fibrinogen is the enzyme in our bodies that dissolves clots (fibrin is the matrix of clots)...yes, it is true in ANY INFLAMMATORY condition that excess fibrin is involved...hence why in infections which commonly produce inflammatory reactions just like injuries do, excess fibrin is one of the hemateological problems that contributes to the overall problem and must be dealt with... The doctor he is going to has told him that most cfs people have high fibrinogen. His levels were about 575 and I guess normal is under 300. His case has been such a curiosity to me and I have prayed for help for him. Everything gives him diarrhea. Calcium gives him diarrhea, which would constipate most people. > > > > My little helper gene wants to make him all better and I don't know enough to help him.
