I think there is a problem with terminology. . .I think she means fibrin, not

fibrinogen.

Fibrinogen is the enzyme in our bodies that dissolves clots (fibrin is the

matrix of clots)...yes, it is

true in ANY INFLAMMATORY condition that excess fibrin is involved...hence why in

infections

which commonly produce inflammatory reactions just like injuries do, excess

fibrin is one of the

hemateological problems that contributes to the overall problem and must be

dealt with...
