Guest guest
I would appreciate any advice given on the following situation: My father had gout about ten years ago and though it is gone, he was told to take a drug called aniferinal (spelling?) for the rest of his life. He also takes Timorman (spelling?) for high blood pressure. He had a papaloma tumor on his septum and has had three sinus surgeries. He has a bleeding problem with his sinuses caused by the multiple surgeries. He has nose bleeds daily. He was prescribed an additional medication on Monday, spironolactone, a diuretic, to help with a water retention problem and it also is meant to control his blood pressure. Does he really need to be taking all of these prescriptions? Is there anything alternative that he could be doing for the high blood pressure and especially the sinus problem? This has been very disruptive to his life for too long now. Also, is the gout thing really necessary after all these years? Could it come back if he stops taking this drug? Thank you so much, Rose _________________________________________________________________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com
