Guest guest
Measure one cup of water in a measuring cup and see how much water it takes to fill one cube. Tom From: [mailto: ] On Behalf Of yourfavoritething2002Sent: Tuesday, May 22, 2012 2:29 PM Subject: Measuring Ice Hi all, this may seem like a dumb question but what is the best way to measure ice cubes to use in Vitamix drinks and recipes? I have the standard old-fashioned ice cube trays, no ice-maker or fancy trays. Do you have any idea how many ice cubes would equal 1 cup? I tried making the vanilla ice cream recipe that came in the latest QVC Vitamix TSV, Creations II I think it is called. It asked for 4 cups of ice. Anyway, it was a disaster, and I think it may have been the amount of ice I used. I used a Pyrex 4-cup measuring cup and filled with cubes to the 4 cup line. Any assistance is welcomed. Thanks! (I did freeze what I made and am using it for smoothies, LOL)
