Hi ,

I only make small batches yet, and experiment with fruit & veggies, so

I get most of my oils at the supermarket, Asda,Tesco, Safeway all do

some nice oils and of course the chemist for castor oil and coconut

oil. Soap-UK is an online supplier and from what I hear on the UK

list a good one, but haven't tried them yet. I will get round to it

this year.

There are loads of recipes and instructions in the archives and

everyone is willing to share,

Have you tried a castile soap

16 oz olive oil

2 oz lye

6oz water

It takes awhile to trace, but you end up with nice soap, and you can

leave it natural or add EO's or FO's.

you can email me private at babs@... and I will help as

much as poss.

I have loads of recipes some all veg oils some have animal fats, I

have sensitive skin and find tallow and lard very nice on my skin so

tend to use them alongside the veg oils (some people get tetchy when

you mention animal fats I'm a meat eater so I don't mind)

Your not cheeky (that's my nickname) we can always say no, not that we

would.

catch you later
