Guest guest
I have had good respouse from the public with a fragrance called Caribbean Breeze... You think that you are on one of the islands...Another one that I use is Kumquat... and Ginger is one that I have found that is fast becoming a favorite... I know that most everyone in the circle are using essential oils...I have not gotten into those yet...I use fragrance oils...I have a very good contact at an Oil company here were I live and am able to get my fo at wholesale and do not have to pay shipping...So I have to go for the best price... Anyway, just thought that I would put in my two cents... frances Re: salt scrub fragrance ideas? > Hi, my personal favorites are equal amounts peppermint and rosemary. Guest guest
Hi Janice, I use fragrances that compliment my soaps. Do you make soap also? These seem to be popular for me, about equally, green tea, cucumber melon, a citrus blend, lavender, and peppermint. Beth
Guest guest
The Citrus Fragrances seem to be really popular when I looked at the Body Care type stores lately! Personally they are my favorite too! Cate
Guest guest
Hi Janice, We sold a ton of scrubs this year. Each weekend was different as to which one went best. We had 4 different scents; Grapefruit Ginger, which we would just add enough grapefruit to scent the salt then add a drop or two of the ginger. The ginger is very strong. We also had Peppermint Orange, we scented this in the same manner as the grapefruit ginger, as the pepperment is very potent also - this was my favorite and smelt absolutely wonderful on your skin. We also had lavender and vanilla, which sold equally as well. I agree that ginger is very popular - thanks to Origins, I believe. Good luck Kim

Guest guest
Hi Janice Grapefruit essential oil is great. It smells great and it is a detoxify at the same time. Second most favorite is lavender. Both are kind to your skin as well as nice smelling. > I'm about to take the plunge and make some salt scrubs. > What are some of the fragrances that are popular? > thanks, janice

Guest guest
Hi, my personal favorites are equal amounts peppermint and rosemary. My other absolute fave is grapefruit and bergamont, 30 parts grapefruit to 10 parts bergamont. I don't know anything about what the public wants, but I make bath salts and bath fizzies for friends and family(they are my guinne pigs for the time being!) and they really seem to like what I make. The best part of all this is how relaxing it is to work with essential oils! Have fun. Leanna.
Guest guest
Kim.... Where do you sell tons.......I am new and hope to get into selling in the spring. Are craft fairs the best? Does anyone do a lot of business on the internet? All help sincerely appreciated folks.... Carol
Guest guest
I've only done craft faire, and we were so surprised as to how our scubs were selling. We were at a well known apple/fruit market where there are several apple orchards around and all of them have crafters and family activities during the Fall. Unfortunately, this isn't year round.
