Guest guest
For the mice I think Peppermint EO works, just put some on a cotton ball and put in corners of closets. I think that is right, lol. Just remember, no Peppermint EO around pregnant woman. I live in a 132 year old house and would like to place smelly stuff that they don't like, to try and keep them out of my house. Thank you so much for your help. in PA Keep on Soapin' P.S. Guest guest
Not at all :-) It can cause a miscarriage. I had heard about that once and then did some reading and sure enough. Even the peppermint eo at GNC had the warning (which was nice to see). I know EO's can loose their punch so to say in P, but I for myself I wouldn't chance it. Guest guest
Hi; I don't know anything about silverfish, but I do know how to get rid of mice. A friend told me about this I tried it and it works. You will need two ingredients, plaster or paris, the kind that you get at the hardware or a crafts store, I got mine at a drugstore, you will also need some grain cereal, I used quick cooking oats. Mix the cereal and the plaster together, put it in a low container where the mice will feed. Forget about it, the mice will eat it then need to drink a lot of water and then they will cross the Rainbow Bridge. Hope this will help you. Hi there, Im sorry I dont know about the silverfish but I just read somewhere that Rapeseed oil sprayed in the garden keeps insects down. Dont as yet know if there is any truth in that but thought it was interesting enough to research as I lost my eggplants to insects last year. Take care,
Guest guest
Re: Silverfish - I think silverfish hang out where is dampness. From what I remember, if you get rid of the dampness, you get rid of the silverfish. Silverfish are usually in your tub, shower stall or basement. Is that where you are finding these little guys? Folks, Whether you are making soap and/or toiletries just for yourself, just to give as gifts or with the thought of selling, PLEASE research what ingredients you are working with. Yes, this is all a great deal of fun to do but some of the ingredients we deal with can be very volatile and some have serious consequences if used the wrong way. Do yourself, your friends, family and future customers a big favor and do the research. You never know when you will end up thanking your lucky stars you did. lynn in valencia lavender bluffs bath and body " A little touch of heaven in your bath "
