Guest guest
I think so too, but remember she had just had a baby 8 weeks prior so the weight was post partum. The results are still incredible. It took me 10 years (LOL) to lose my post pregnant weight. Bridgette > > Hi everyone. I just joined and I felt like introducing myself. Guest guest
I would've replied sooner, but I was out to sea and got home today. My daughter was almost 11 months old when I started. I was sick of the way I felt just showering, couldn't stand to look in the mirror. I was all too ready for the change and I went into it full force. I usually eat egg whites and fat free yogurt or apple, then Myoplex lite shake, then tuna with fat free mayo on whole wheat and a salad, then Myo lite shake again, then chicken breast with a baked potato and a salad or some other veggies, last meal is a myo carb sense bar. I didn't workout extra or modify anything. On free day I'd just like have ice cream or frozen yogurt with lunch and I'd eat less about 4 meals that day. My 10s at the end were far away from the 10s at the beginning, I couldn't run 3/4 of a mile without keeling over lol at the end I could do 2.5 in 20 mins. But I pushed farther than what I thought I could do each time. Every week I increased weights on most things by 5 lbs to make sure I pushed enough and more. Each time I ran I tried faster and harder. Granted I am 23 so I have a higher metabolism and 20 lbs of that was due to pregnancy. However I lost 10 lbs more than I ever thought I could (probably because when I exercised before getting pregnant I didn't know what real 10s were). I think I answered most questions. Guest guest
Jocelyn, you seem to have had great results and have the eating thing down so I thought I would ask you or anyone who has input about carbs. I am having 1/2 a whole wheat tortilla with my eggs in the morning, 1/2 slice of ww bread with tuna for lunch and either brown rice or potato with chicken breast in the evening. I have 2 meal replacement shakes and a bar for the other meals. My DH is telling me I am getting way too many carbs. Since I'm new to this I am trying to go by the book, but reading these posts have been such a help I thought I would get the 411. Thanks, Re: Hi all (new) I would've replied sooner, but I was out to sea and got home today. My daughter was almost 11 months old when I started. Guest guest
that doesn't seem like too much carbs to me, heck when I have tuna I have 2 slices of whole wheat bread lol. Hope this helps, but it sounds good. Jocelyn BTW I like your name my daughter is Eryn > Jocelyn, > you seem to have had great results and have the eating thing down so I thought I would ask you or anyone who has input about carbs. Guest guest
Jocelyn, thanks a lot for the info. Eryn is a really neat way to spell it, no one has ever spelled my name correctly there aren't too many female 's my age everyone always thought I was male and spelled it .
