Hi Clare, I do not have a business doing toiletries yet, so I can't help you

with the

business side of things. You mention that you have never made any of these

toiletries... If you go to the library(scroll down and click on

www.luxurylane.com)you

will find tons of very good recipes. Start with the simple things like the bath

salts

and bath fizzies and oils. Definately try your own creations! Give stuff to

your

friends and family for them to try as well. I really depend on the feedback I

get from

my " guinne pigs " ! Read as much as you can about making these products. It

won't take

you long to get the hang of things! After awhile, you may even become hooked on

toiletries! Good luck with everything and have fun. That's the big benefit!

Hi ,

I do not have a business either doing tolietries. I do with another brand of

cosmetics. I have fun with tolietries and have learned much in doing so. I

have helped many people also with this " fun " hobby. I would think with your

" business " already the incorporation of oils would be rather easy. Oils and

aromatherapy recipes are plentiful out there. Look at the recipes on the

tolietries library, go to your public library (they have lots of books with

photos of how to do this also) You will get plenty of ideas on how to do the

presentation.

What I have learned in doing any type of selling, especially in a rather

" luxury " item is that it is all in the presentation. Of course the actual

product that is worthy and good quality is needed. Wish I could help you

more but I think starting with the oils is an easier way to blend your

business together for now.
