Actually, the show was on VH1. We just had a long discussion about

it on this board a couple days back. I agree that it was inspiring,

but I also think it was a very controlled setting and a fake kind of

motivation in the form of TV cameras. I would bet money that at

least two of those girls will gain the weight back within a few

months.

I can say from experience that during the 1st bfl challenge somewhere

I lost what pushing to failure meant. I took my trainer on for 3

sessions where she designed me a routine while doing it with me

(you can see it here http://www.sfu.ca/~eve/bfl/). Anyway, she had

me pushing an extra rep in a set when normally I would have stopped.

Of course I did need some spotting every now and then but I now again

know how far I can push myself.

They really did look good after their transformations, didn't they?

One of the things that bothered me most about the program was that the girls

were doing twice-daily cardio sessions, burning 1000 calories/day and they

were only allowing them to eat 1350 calories/day. That's just not healthy.
