Guest guest
Hello all, I'm and I work at UT Southwestern Medical Center of Dallas as the Bariatric Nutritionist (RD/LD) for the general surgery clinic. My question is related to the frequent gas the gastric bypass patients experience after surgery. I have several patients who are experiencing severe gas which is interfering with their lifestyle. I've tried the usual remedies like gas X, beano, etc. without success. Does anyone know of anything else (traditional or non traditional) that can help alleviate the gas for these patients so they can live a normal life ? Please let me know of any ideas that may help. Thanks,
