Hi Everyone! Here are my New Year Goals for 2006 and the plans to accomplish them. Fitness/Health Goal(s) 1. Lose 80 lbs How? - exercise 5 to 7 days a week doing cardio, strength and stretching exercises Eat smaller portions. Eating ONLY soup/broth or yogurt after 10pm Drinking more water - adding one glass of water each week until I'm drinking 10 to 12 glasses a day. Eating more fiber - oatmeal, whole grains Having more dairy - drink skim milk with meals when at home and eating more yogurt. Taking ALL of my vitamins - building up slowly. Professional Goal(s) 2. Pass the QA for interpreters How? - study at least 2 days a week for an hour or two hours. 3. Prepare for written exam for interpreters. How? - make a list of books and other materials I need. Buy what I need. Study for the test at least 2 days a week for two hours. 4. Do a better job at work. How? - prepare before going on the assignments. Study vocabulary for classes that I'm

interpreting. Increase my vocabulary with crosswords, reading and reviewing vocab sites and books. Spiritual Goal(s) 5. Interpret at a church for Deaf members. How? - attend a Deaf church regularly Study the Bible (for me as well as to become a better interpreter) Pray. I will also post monthly and weekly goals. What are your goals, if you haven't posted them yet??? Jen
