Guest guest Posted January 4, 2006 Report Share Posted January 4, 2006 today i did denise austin's newest workout... indoor walk. i was looking for something easy to do and well, i sure got it! LOL this workout was way too easy and i was bored. this one would be great for an absolute beginner but everyone else should pass it by. im going to put this one up for trade.... if anyone here is interested then just holler. comparison to leslie sansone's WATP 3 mile workout is unavoidable and i have to tell ya, leslie wins! the only thing that denise did that leslie neglects is a nice 10 minute stretch after the 3 mile, 45 minute, workout is over. both use light dumbells during one of the miles and also use side steps, step touch, knees up, walk forward and back. oh, and denise does do a bit of jogging. denise looks very nice and her voice and comments werent tooooo annoying (ok, yes she was a bit annoying but i was expecting that)... it is just that leslie uses a faster pace, better music (never thought i would ever say that about leslie's workouts! LOL), and blabby leslie even manages to say more interesting things during her walking workouts than denise does... denise is still stuck on her old 'burning butter', 'you can do it' and 'zip up your abs' comments. my heartrate was around 60-70% of max through the 45 mins, but i was intensifying the moves. i still managed to burn 293 calories, so i guess it wasnt all bad. tomorrow, i need to work alot harder... it is strength day and im going to do the firm bss2 total sculpt with jen carmen. :*carolyn.
