Guest guest
Hi Sam's annual review is coming up next week and I would like his speech and language " specified " in statement, he is in an SLD school and currently gets two group sessions per week, one with 2 other children and one class session. At present it is just a vague statement saying Sam will have " access " to SLT. The SLT at the school is great but she is under huge pressure to do more work outside the school and has just had her salary cut!! I think she is near breaking point and may well leave soon. Do any of you know if you are entitled to have SLT specified in a statement, she thinks that would mean tribunnal suppose because if she does leave and it is specified then they would have to provide SLT by law. Don't think I have the time and energy to go down the tribunnal route, been there once, not again!! thanks in advance for any advice, Di have left a message with IPSEA
