Guest guest
today i got my new heart rate monitor out and entered all of the proper settings for my age, height, weight and so on. i had a bunch of housework to do (mainly sweeping floors) so i decided to wear the HRM while doing that so i could make sure that i had it set up right and it was working ok. i want to use it, for real, during my workout tomorrow. anyway, i did around 90 minutes of housework, including a bit of dancing around , and while the HRM indicated that i was in my zone (60% to 90% of max heart rate) for only a couple of minutes, the HRM said that i burned over 300 calories! what?!?! is that for real?!?! that seems way too high to me... i was expecting 50, maybe 100 tops! LOL man, if i can burn that much just sweeping floors then think about how many cals i can burn doing an actual cardio workout! whoa! the thing is not hard to setup so i cant imagine that i messed it up and that it is giving a false reading due to that, but... maybe?? it is a polar f4. what do you think? :*carolyn. -- No virus found in this outgoing message.
