Is that what it comes down to? I don't know that others see it this way -- though you did say " what it comes down to " . Also, I'm not sure if I see it this way--- I like the simplicity of how you've said it. But isn't there a bit more to it? I mean, even theoretically, the idea of redistribution involves other stuff besides dropping metals, doesn't it? Like preferentially resettling in the brain. And like that BIT that resettles in the brain being enough to be a problem. When I talk to people about it theoretically like this, I think all theories seem bizarre! I mean, it COULD BE that there is redistribution, but who the heck would know? For me it is practical examples that make the case. Without that, it is all a bunch of " possibilities " , to me. So, putting theory aside, I think many many practitioners either don't have any/enough awareness of " bad reactions " . As in, the view " this works fine " or " no problems " . Or else " oh, that was a single case and was due to <fill in explanation> " . Also, many practitioners (and the people seeing them) have veeeery much different explanations of why " bad reactions " occur. I posted on A-M about this a while back--- a semi-humorous post IMO-- it was a list of the theories I'm aware of that are in competition with " bad dosing " as explanations for increased mercury poisoning / " bad reactions " . Everyone (and his brother) has a list of 6 things you've got to do to chelate properly and safely. And, of course, I mean a completely DIFFERENT list. Minerals at same time, or at different time. IV's of vitamin C. Use homeopathics to clear energy pathways or detox channels. Keep the bowels open. Use saunas. Do liver cleanse beforehand. Clear gut bugs first. I think a lot of it does NOT come down to believing chelators never drop metals. More like believing something else, believing what you have been taught, believing what you know of, etc. If you want to really understand, I suggest that you visit " the outside world " . Such as: read 5 or 10 competing approaches to mercury detox, for example. I recommend reading Klinghardt, maybe Gordon (think I have that name right?). Also read about MT promoter, and look for the spokesman (I think it is Goldberg, not sure on spelling) (he is against chelation and thinks it is harmful). Read views on mercury on some doctor's sites (Mercola [very Klinghardt-influenced], Neubrander, Buttar, Cave, Green, etc.) See what you find. Then, you tell me, is this really about that they think chelators never drop the metals? Maybe that is true, but it is certainly not what they are talking about. > Also, does anyone know about the supplementation guidelines? Do > they come from Andy?
