" Pretty gutsy. Also another self-important man, but to give him lots of credit, he doesn't care who is right, just wants to see his kid get better. So, likes his kid more than he dislikes Andy. Good dad, in my book. > > He went on to outline in the post the diffs between Buttar's protocol and Andy's. Ended up saying he doubted both could be correct, and although his son had improved on Buttar's protocol, he was still autistic, so he was going to try Andy's protocol. I hope it isn't too late, and I hope the kid does marvelously on it, and I hope he posts it. I hope it goes well, for the sake of his kid. Also after reading quotes of Handley in an article recently, well, he seems to have TOTAL and complete belief that chelation cures all, and, I dunno, just seems like kind of a setup for disappointment. > > Also, yes, did hear on ck2 the deal about chelating without a dr. But somehow the docs can do things like IV's weekly (and that is only one of the many, many examples of damage I have heard others post docs have done), and do the damage, (the mother reported her child's speech was now garbled, ugh!!! can't say how sick to the stomach this makes me) and Anagram will say, It's not permanent!!! I don't know where she got her med degree. So, is okay if you listen to a doc who damages your kid, honestly, what are they thinking?? I think what they are thinking is something many people think, but hard for me to explain. It's like an underlying belief in deference to degrees and authority. And some of us just don't have that. Believe me, in the " Dr. Amy days " it showed up there too. Or maybe that is something a little different. Some of the moms seeing Dr. Amy were quite quick to interpret any disagreement with Dr Amy as an attack on her (or themselves? or some other principle???) I found it very constraining. I loved Dr Amy, still do, think she was wonderful -- but was forever having to SAY SO because everything would be interpreted as a threat to her (or something like this, I don't know). Of course, no amount of saying " oh and by the way, I think Dr Amy is truely great " actually helped, LOL. This was prior to the split when the CK2 group started, and also is part of what led to it. And let me say, again, I adored Dr Amy's work -- I just felt no one ever heard that. If you ever said one word in disagreement, that was it. I got slammed pretty badly a couple of times, even though my policy was to generally say very little about it, since I didn't even want to MISTAKENLY be taken as " anti Amy " . Jeez, she was wonderful. I still have a video of her at some conference. So, it was constraining, and difficult. Just as right now it is very difficult to say ANYTHING AT ALL about TD applications or dosing schedules, let alone about Buttar, without being misinterpreted all over the place. Frustrating, and likely to stay this way Maybe I'd better find a soapbox around here somewhere! > And everyone will support that, but want to kill Andy for what he says? Does anybody not see the logic is totally whacky here? And we all go on acting like all this is normal. > > Didn't mean Andy was ousted from ck2 group, but from the community. Although, Anita saw on Jb's site that Andy is listed among the big players, although last on the list, and his book also. I think, but please correct me if I am wrong, this is a recent development. Mandi is correct, it was always there. In fact, when the Generation Rescue site was new, someone (maybe someone from GR?) posted on A-M aobut Andy being listed there. At that time, some of the info about him was inaccurate, so I wrote them and asked them to fix it, which they did. There is also a link to my hair test page somewhere on their " how to get help " pages. > > Also, everyone please refrain from speaking anywhere of the JB post, as although talking about it is not forbidden, he did ask that the post not be forwarded. I think it is prudent to respect his wishes. good to know. Moria
